There are many upcoming bands this year, but one has really reached the top. With Iron Maiden, Metallica and Trivium, stands the new metal heroes Bullet for my valentine. They have only released one album (The Poison Digipack) and reached the top with that album. They have joined Iron Maiden and Guns N’ Roses on a world tour, I think they hit through the wall of fame there.

The band started as a garage band named “Jeff killed John”. The lead vocalist is named Matthew Tuck, he plays guitar and sings at the same time. After the chords he plays, I think it’s very well done to sing at the same time. By the way Matthew makes all of the lyrics to.

Michael Padget is the second guitarist in the band who plays guitar with Matt. He has played seriously on guitar in seven years. He is the one that has made a lot of the chords, with other words, a lot of the melodies. And if you have heard any of the awesome guitars solos in the tracks of their first album, he’s the one who plays them.

Their bassist is called Jason James, but they call him Jay. He doesn’t only play the bass guitar, he also sings besides it. He makes the lyrics very heavy. And they are a heavy metal band so he fits in.

Their drummer is called Michael Thomas, but he is called Moose. I think that this man could be the reason why Padge is so fucking extremely good with his guitar. When Moose and Padge were young none of them played an instrument, but Moose had a guitar and borrowed it to Padge and the rest is history. Later Moose become a fucking talent on the drums and you know what happened.

As you maybe have understood, all of these guys where friends in their childhood. They all come from the same place, Bridgend in Wales. That place is where they grew up and live today. It all started with Matt who wanted to play guitar because he saw a music video of Metallica on MTV. The next thing he did was to buy a guitar and start a band. That was the big thing in his life he was burning for.

They have only produced one album and reached the top with that. The album is called The Poison Digipack. They have also released a live DVD from Brixton Academy, which includes a lot of band documentary and all their music videos.

So with this article, we would recommend this band for every heavy metal fans out there. Bullet For My Valentine gets you one hell of a music kick and makes you more music interest.
