Think different, then think again. Steve Jobs

There are many fashion styles. When you look arounin the street, you can see people wearing, for example, sports clothes, business casual, their uniforms or dress code from the office and so on. But I want to write about extremes, which are relevant to teenagers. By the way, do you think you will recognise yourself in any of them?

 First, I'll begin by looking at a couple of looks popular with young people--- a 'barbie girl' and a 'disco boy'. When you are dazzled by a flood of pink, when there's more expensive perfume than oxygen in the air, and when a girl wearing a very short skirt struts around you, you have just met a barbie girl. Perfect make-up at all times is typical for this kind of girl. And beside her you can often see a boy wearing the trendiest clothes with an apparently casual hairstyle , which he was really styling for 2 hours. But never tell them they don't look well - it's dangerous.

Secondly, I would also like to introduce you to a company of hip-hop boys. They wear T-shirts, which they seem to have inherited from their hundred-kilo cousin, and trousers with the crotch hanging down around their knees. They never take off their peaked caps turned to the side, and they are also instantly recognisible by their sluggish walk and their spitting all around.

The next 'look' I'd like to describe for you are the so-called dreadlockers. They wear loose-fitting clothes, often in the colours of Jamaica and their long hair is twisted into dreadlocks. Mostly they are level-headed people, at least with their constant friend, the joint. At home these guys must certainly have a small, private field of marijuana to feed their habit.

Finally, I have chosen a very flamboyant style, the look cultivated by EMOs. They have mainly black colour, sometimes in combination with white and red. Their favourite patterns are stripes and checks, and you can normaly see only one of their eyes because the second is cleverly hidden behind a black fringe. But don't leave them alone with a blade because there's a danger of injury! Another easy way of identifying them is their huge consumption of black eyeliners.

The main conclusion to be drawn from my article is that everybody should develop their own personal style, but please - don't exagerate it! Because if you overdo it you're more likely to look like a fool, than looking cool.
