Jennifer Lopez was born on 24th July 1970 and she grew up in a poor area of New York, Castle Hill (Bronx). Her proper name is Jennifer but her nickname is J.Lo. Since she was a child she has loved music and dancing and after years of auditions, tiredness, disappointments and hopes, she has attained her first album, her first film, fame, Hollywood, money…

Jenny began her career in 1990 when she played a part in a TV show called “In living colour. In 1999 was made her first album “On the 6 a medley of many types of music like pop, latin soul and R'n'B; this masterpiece has sold 6 millions copies all over the world!!!I like very much it because the songs are full of rhythm and catchy too.

Jennifer has proved herself as actress in many movies like “Out of sight, “The cell, “The wedding planner and most recently “Maid in Manhattan a romantic play in which she is a maid. I've seen “The wedding planner, a romantic comedy, and I think this film very pleasant and funny. It is about a tormented love story but in the end there is a happy ending.

Jenny's second album entitled “J.Lo has been on the top of the American charts and she has sold over than 7 millions copies with great success. Also a remix album like “J to the L-O! The remixes has become immediately a number one with 2,5 millions copies. Her fourth record work “This is me …then contains 10 new tracks and it reflects her personality; the title is perfect because Jenny tells us much information about herself as she answers to the questions of a journalist. This album describes her spirit and her present state of mind. The melodies are more peaceful and the meanings of the songs are deeper; it seems that every song contains a particular message for someone.

Jennifer Lopez has been through two divorces; the first with the rapper Puff Daddy, and the second with the dancer Chris Judd. Now it seems that she has a love story with the actor Ben Affleck, her partner in the film “Gigli. She has also dedicated him a song “Dear Ben, a declaration of her love. There is a rumour that she is a whimsical and overbearing star, but Ben says that she is absolutely humble and courageous… He paid for his thought to be printed on an entire page of a daily newspaper so that everyone could read it.

Jennifer Lopez has also won a prize for the “Best Female Artist at last edition of “MTV Video Music Award in Barcelona. Sunday 23rd March 2003 Jenny was, for the 6th time, a co-presenter for the night of the Oscar (the 75th edition of the story of the Oscar) at Kodak Theatre (Hollywood). She has a line of clothes; it is called “J.Lo. Jennifer loves clothes especially shoes and she is very interested in the world of fashion. Her hobbies are yoga, decorating and tennis and in her free time she loves going shopping. She has been elected the most sexy woman in the world by a magazine; she is the only woman to receive the award two years running.

I think she is a good artist and I like her music full of energy and I think she is also a great actress. I haven't seen many of her films but I like her spontaneity and enthusiasm.
